Suwasevana is a facility near Karapitiya hospital built with the vision to offer free services to the qualifying community despite of race or religion. Our mission is to provide accommodation to patients who commute long distance to seek medical treatments in the city. People from rural areas need to travel to the city the day before in order to be on time for their hospital appointments. Once they reached the city, most people cannot afford a place to stay nearby the hospital but to seek other means by sleeping at bus stops or any random place.

Our  facility comprises of two buildings that can accommodate a total of twenty-eight patients on a daily basis. Our patients are permitted to stay at the facility with one caregiver from their family. Duration of stay  depends on each patient's treatment. In addition, patients are offered free food, beverages with amenities daily. Our friendly staff is always available to provide assistance when needed.
